Book adaptations are funny things.  They can either drive you to love the book and the story even more, or they can ruin the entire experience for you.  They’ve also become much more popular in Hollywood in the past few years.  Examples of this just in the past year or two include The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, The Fault in Our Stars, The Moral Instruments: City of Bones, Divergent, The Hobbit, and The Giver, just to name a few.  The quality of adaptations in the past few years has been varied and unpredictable, so here is a list of some our favorite, and not-so-favorite, book adaptations to come to the big screen.

Introducing Video Game Reviews


In the past several weeks, I’ve been trying to think of ways to expand this website, and make it useful for more people of varying interests.  That’s difficult, since as of now, I’m the only one writing for the blog on a regular basis, and I only have so much time and resources to review things or write about them.  For that reason, I’ve stayed away from reviewing video games for a while, since it takes a lot of time to play through them (assuming you’re playing through a game with some sort of story or campaign mode), and then review them.  But I’ve decided that it’s worth my time to undertake this endeavor.
